Events

The Kappa Tau chapter enjoys a full calendar of events filled with parites, tailgates, mixers, date parties, formals, community service and philanthropy events. Below are a few events highlighted throughout the year.

Fall Tailgates

A long standing tradition at the University of Tennessee and the Kappa Tau chapter are football tailgates. We invite all graduate brothers and family members to join us on gamedays before we watch the Big Orange in Neyland stadium.

White Star Semi-Formal

Our annual White Star Semi-Formal is held in the Fall.  Brothers and their beautiful dates go out for a night in Savannah, GA.

FIJI Island Week

This week long event is Kappa Tau's annual Spring philanthropy.  Sororites across campus compete in activities. All procedes benefit the USO as we raise money and awareness for our United States troops.

Frank Norris Pig Dinner

Celebrating 128 years of the Kappa Tau chapter of Phi Gamma Delta.  See the Pig Dinner tab above.

Black Diamond Formal

Our annual Black Diamond Formal is held in the Spring.  Each year we travel to a new location such as Charleston, New Orleans, and Myrtle Beach. In Spring of 2020, Kappa Tau will be traveling to New Orleans for Black Diamond Formal.
